On July 19th at the Church of Santo Domingo Bonaval in the city of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, during the ceremony of the XII General Chapter of the Order, Enrique Borgo Bustamante, partner of Consortium Centro America Abogados, received the honorable investiture that credited him as “Gentleman of the Order of Santiago” in recognition of his professional and personal merits.
The investiture was conferred to Mr. Borgo Bustamante, who also addressed a speech of gratitude for this recognition alongside a group of important people including businessmen, doctors and other professions representatives.
The “Gentlemen of the Order of Santiago ” was born as a religious and military order to unite several municipalities that conform the Paths of Santiago, promoting traditions, gastronomy of various towns that join the guides of the Fields of the Star of Santiago. The ceremony was preceded by the President and Grand Master of the Order, Mr. Miguel Pampín Rua along with the presence of Mr. Carlos Escudero de Burón, president of the Foundation Carlos III and members of the Senior Management Forum.
Currently, this institution, which since last February became a foundation, has more than 700 gentlemen and ladies around the world committed to the promotion and dissemination of the Jacobea Route.
