Consortium Centro America Abogados through its office in Nicaragua Consortium-Taboada & Asociados; on February 29, organized a meeting between the University of Vanderbilt Law School (Number 16 on the ranking of best law schools in the United States according to US News and World Report) and young Nicaraguan attorneys in an effort to promote legal education. The meeting took place at the offices of Consortium-Taboada & Asociados in Managua , with the participation of the Vanderbilt University Law School Dean, Edward L. Rubin and the Assistant Director of the Center for the Americas of Vanderbilt University, Mrs. Giorleny Altamirano and a group of young attorneys. The attorney Carlos Taboada Rodríguez, host of the event, qualified this meeting as highly satisfactory for the participant attorneys since Dean Rubin announced Vanderbilt University is granting two scholarships for Nicaraguan attorneys that wish to obtain a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at Vanderbilt University .
