CONSORTIUM puts all the experience it has accrued through the years at the service of its clients on issues related to litigations such as administrative procedures and litigation, intellectual property, commercial, labor and constitutional litigation, as well as arbitration cases outside the Central American area. Our firm strives to keep our lawyers up-to-date in areas of alternative dispute resolution under local and international laws, to provide our clients with more and better advice regarding the alternatives available to solve their controversies. Alvaro Castellanos and José Roberto Tercero are the leaders in arbitration in the firm. Dr. Castellanos is a representative member of Guatemala in the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC in Paris and is Arbitrator appointed by the Government of Guatemala in the CIADI (ICSID) and the DR-CAFTA. Also, he is the President of the Center of Arbitration and Conciliation of the Chamber of Commerce in Guatemala. Dr. Tercero is an International Arbitrator of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Guatemala and a member of the London Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, being the first Salvadorian with such distinction. Also, is the President of the Central American Association for Commercial Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, constituted in El Salvador. |
