Consortium Centro America Abogados, through its offices in Honduras, advises Davidoff & Cie. SA, of Swiss conglomerate Oettinger Davidoff, in the acquisition of Camacho Cigars, the most prestigious producer of world-famous Honduran export cigars.

With this acquisition Oettinger Davidoff, founded in Switzerland in 1875, continues its expansion into the tobacco and cigar-producing countries with worldwide recognition, they already have a plant in the Dominican Republic and now in Honduras.  Camacho Cigars, with brands such as, Camacho Cojoro, Baccarat and La Fontana, has an important part of the American market for Honduran cigars.

Closing date of transaction October 10th, 2008.
