Consortium Centro America Abogados through its offices in Nicaragua Consortium-Taboada & Asociados organized a seminar named “Free Competition, its Protection and Promotion in Nicaragua”. The main objective of the seminar was to offer the participants, theoretical and practical knowledge of the different aspects of Competition Law. The lecturers were Darliss Gordon, PDC. Magda Blandino, LL. M. Maria Belinda Bendaña JSD. and Roberto Sobalvarro MsC. And our founding partner and Chairman of the Board, Jose Evenor Taboada, JSD. The seminar was directed to business entrepreneurs, general managers and legal counselors, who are responsible for planning the strategic decisions for business expansion and entering into new markets. The lecturers explained the basic concepts of Competition Law in order for the participants to acquire the sufficient knowledge to differentiate between prohibited and allowed conducts regulated by the Law.
