In order to promote international tourism in El Salvador, on October 8th, the arrival of the first of a series of commercial flights of the airline LIVINGSTON S.p.A. from Milan, Italy to El Salvador was officially announced. Consortium Centro America Abogados, through partner Jose Eduardo Tomasino, and associates Marcela Zelaya and Rodrigo Méndez advised the company in establishing operations and obtaining permits for these flights in the country. The Italian company Livingston S.p.A., one of the leading airlines in Italy, owned by LAUDA AIR GROUP, European conglomerate founded in 1991 that operates in the Caribbean, Brazil, Egypt, Middle East, Mediterranean and Indian Ocean, landed at El Salvador’s international Airport on its LM 195 flight from Malpensa`s International Airport, Italy after a technical stop in Cancun, Mexico for a crew change. The arrival of this aircraft to the country in a commercial route is considered as a historic event because it is the first time that lands a flight that connects directly Italy with El Salvador. By 2008 the future of these flights will be defined depending on the demand. With this flight, tourism is expected to increase in the coming years. |
