News Details:
Recently, Mario Quesada Bianchini, Randall Barquero León and Maricela Salazar of Consortium – Laclé & Gutiérrez, acted as external counsel to Citibank (Costa Rica), S.A. for the structuring of the refinancing for the acquisition by the Real Estate Investment Fund, Caribbean Properties Group (CGP) of The Fiesta Hotels, in Puntarenas and Papagayo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This refinancing included a loan agreement that was prepared in coordination with the New York firm Sidley, Austin and the local package of guarantees that was documented by Consortium – Laclé & Gutiérrez. The amount of the refinancing was close to US$53 Million.
