Through a Stock Purchase Agreement or "SPA", the multinational company Hanesbrands Inc., a leader in clothes manufacturing, acquired in its entirety shares of Inversiones Bonaventure S.A de C.V., a Salvadoran pantyhose manufacturer operating in the country since 1995, which belongs to The Argus Group Holding Ltd. conglomerate of the British Virgin Islands, for an undisclosed amount.

The process of acquisition that was closed this December contributes to strengthening Hanesbrand´s presence in the region, becoming an important support to the fast growing economy of El Salvador and its workforce.

The team of lawyers that participated in the process also includes Brian Garcia, of Akerman Senterfitt in Miami as Hanesbrand´s outside counsel and Joia Johnson and Francisco Velasco, as inside counsels, and Alfonso Pineda Claude and Beatriz Milla as The Argus Group’s counsels.
