It is our great satisfaction to inform you that our law firm, Consortium Central America Attorneys was the only firm in El Salvador that participated in the 3 major financial transactions on 2006. We participated as legal advisors of: HSBC in the acquisition process of the stocks of Banco Salvadoreño. Banco Cuscatlán, in the stock acquisition process in the region by Citigroup, for US$1,510,000,000.00. Our firm coordinated the legal work in the region until the execution of the Stock Purchase Agreement. Bancolombia, in the acquisition process of the stocks of Banco Agrícola, the largest bank in El Salvador, and a Panamanian subsidiary, for US$900,000,000.00 Consortium – El Salvador, has once again proven to be the leading law firm in international financial transactions.
