On July 20th at San Salvador´s Real Intercontinental Hotel was launched at a formal event the book titled “Derecho Bancario Salvadoreño” Written by the attorney Aquiles Delgado, founding partner of the law firm Consortium Centro América Abogados in El Salvador to contribute to the diffusion and knowledge of this important discipline of the law in the country. The foreword of this legal work was written by a recognized Latin American scholar and author of important books such as: “Contratos Banacarios, Su significación en América Latina”; “Negocios Fiducidiarios, Su significación en América Latina”; “La Responsabilidad del Fiducidiario”; among others, Doctor Sergio Rodriguez Azuero who had the honor to speak to the audience in the new trends in Banking Law in the world. “Derecho Bancario Salvadoreño”, is the first book written in El Salvador that includes historical subjects such as the origins of money in general, the banking sector in the country, the different laws that have regulated so important mercantile activity entering into the development and analysis of all the financial services. Aquiles Delgado, author of the book, is a founding member of Asociación Salvadoreña de Derecho Bancario (ASDEBAN); the Fundación Salvadoreña para el Desarrollo Económico y Social (FUSADES) and ACTUA Foundation, non-profit organization that supports education in poor communities in the country; he represented El Salvador before the Committee of Expert Lawyers in Banking Law of the Latin American Federation of Banks (FELABAN) and is a past President of the Legal Committee of Asocicación Bancaria Salvadoreña (ABANSA), among others. As audience who were present at this important event we can mention: members of the Board of directors of Consortium Centro América Abogados, governmental personalities, diverse educational institutions of the country, legal professionals and students of several Universities. |
