World Finance Legal Awards 2009 has granted Consortium Centro America Abogados the award of “Best Banking & Finance Law Firm Award in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.” (Enero 2009).

On May 8th a ceremony was held to recognize the work of those persons who voluntarily contributed for more than 4 years to the project “Doing Business” of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation. Our office Consortium Centro America Abogados - office in El Salvador, was recognized with this distinction. The distinction was given to our partner Ricardo Cevallos in recognition to his outstanding work, he provided advice in issues such as company creation, hiring and firing of employees and closing of businesses, among others. Consortium - Rodriguez, Archila, Castellanos, Solares & Aguilar was awarded through the legal advice provided to Hydro Xacbal power project, who received the prize for "Latin American Renewable Energy Deal of the Year" and "Latin American Power/Energy Deal of the Year", both by the Project Finance Magazine. It was also second finalist in the Project Finance category for Latin Lawyer Magazine’s “Deal of the Year”. (March 2008).

Consortium – Office El Salvador, as a sponsor in the area of patenting inventions in the III Annual Meeting of Young Entrepreneurs organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of El Salvador, received a trophy in recognition of the support for this kind of motivational projects held in El Salvador. In the 82nd edition of Estrategia & Negocios magazine of October 2006, Consortium Centro America Abogados heads the list of the ten most outstanding legal firms of Central America and Panama with the highest qualification of A+++. (October 2006).

Out of 200 lawyers initially selected by Latin Lawyer, 40 of them became Central America’s 40 under 40, seven of them, the largest number of attorneys on the list, belong to Consortium.(July 2006).
