Recently, partners José Ramón Paz and José Rafael Rivera and associates Elly de Membreño, Karla Aguilar, Fernando Godoy and Jorge Brizuela of Consortium - J.R. Paz & Asociados, advised Delta Air Lines during the establishment of its offices in Honduras. The process to obtain its operating certificate, traffic license and incorporation of the company in the country, was finalized in a record twenty days period. Delta Air Lines made its first flight from Atlanta to San Pedro Sula, Honduras on March 1st, 2006. The team that led to such an outstanding result was coordinated by partner José Ramón Paz and also included the participation of Armando Manzanares, Adolfo Pineda, José Miguel Álvarez and Rolando Romero Zapata, who advised in specific subjects of contractual nature, labor and taxes. With the introduction of the airline in the country, it hopes that the flights directed to and from Atlanta will increase in the next years. |
