Pro Bono
Consortium, aware of the duties that as professionals and human beings our lawyers possess, we decided to gather efforts to assist those most in need through direct aid or through nonprofit organizations.
Among the activities and services Pro Bono, we can mention:
Guatemala:
Legal counsel to nonprofit foundation GUATEFUTURO dedicated to the channeling of resources to offer scholarships to Guatemalan students abroad. At present, they have assisted in the reform of its statutes, to support the documentation of scholarships and the credits granted. http://www.guatefuturo.org/
El Salvador:
Consortium’s partner, Aquiles Delgado is a founding member of ACTÚA, participating as Chairman of this entity. ACTÚA develops in El Salvador the Program called “ONE TO ONE”, which began in Chicago, USA and consists in educating young people with values developed through a guardian’s program, who are usually students from private Educational Centers who are prepared to make their social community works in support of young people from inner cities and public schools who do not have access to an education in values. http://www.fundacionactua.org/
Honduras:

Covelo Foundation: Assistance to micro-entrepreneurship in legal area.
Nicaragua:
Legal counsel to Teleton. Member of the Foundation Board of Directors is our Consortium’s president José Evenor Taboada, as the attorney member of the board he through out the entire year, is in charge of all the legal matters of the foundation. http://www.teleton.org.ni/
