Established in 1982 with the name Bufete José Ramón Paz, it was the first Law Firm to ask for its inscription at the Honduran Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados de Honduras), transforming itself into JR Paz & Associates. Between 1997 and 1999, the Honduras Law Firm incorporated partners Gustavo Leon-Gómez, Leonidas Padilla, José Rafael Rivera Ferrari and Oscar Armando Manzanares, well known Honduran Lawyers, thus giving the firm a more corporate vision.
J.R. Paz & Asociados in december of the 2008, adopted the regional firm name, Consortium Centro América Abogados - Office Honduras, the leading law firm in this country. It offers a wide range of legal services specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law. It has offices in Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula and in Roatán, Bay Islands.
