Recently, the regional magazine Estrategia & Negocios along with the Copenhagen Consensus and the INCAE Business School, carried out the event titled “Dialog on the main challenges identified in the Consultation of San José under the methodology of cost-benefit from the Copenhagen Consensus and the prioritization of potential solutions for each of the countries of Central America”      

A tour across the isthmus was organized, where the dialog was developed, with the aim of undertaking national agreements between the leadership of the keys sectors of the countries on the possible solutions for the development of the region.

The tour began the 2nd of September in El Salvador and finished the 8th of September, in Costa Rica.

The dialogs retook the identified challenges, in the Consultation of San José: Democracy, Public Administration and Institutions, Education, Employment and Security; and Poverty and Inequality.

Consortium Centro America Abogados sponsored this event through its offices in El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.

Estrategia & Negocios invited Ricardo Cevallos, partner of El Salvador and Jose Evenor Taboada, partner of Nicaragua to participate as panelist in the Forum next to the group of experts in the dialog table.

Our partners developed the challenges Education and Employment and Security, respectively. They analyzed the viability of implementing the proposed solutions in the Consultation of San José in El Salvador and Nicaragua, at the same time they listened to participants’ proposals according to the national reality.

The event featured the participation of special guests such as Bjorn Lomborg, Director of the Copenhagen Consensus, Arturo Condo, Dean of INCAE Business School, Hector Dada, Representative of PAIRCA, among others.
