Consortium Centro America Abogados has been the Official Sponsor of the XXVII Latin American Banking Congress - COLADE, celebrated the past 8th and 9th of September in San Jose, Costa Rica. The Congress was organized by the Latin American Federation of Banks (FELABAN) and the Costa Rican Banking Association (ABC).

Consortium offered the Welcoming Cocktail Reception for all the participants, giving by inaugurated the Congress at the Real Intercontinental Hotel, host of the event.

Consortium imparted two conferences during the Congress: “The Banking Briefcase. Legal Regime in Central America” and “The Banking System undisclosed Secrets in Central America”. Whose presenters were Jose Evenor Taboada JSD, president; and Aquiles Delgado, vice-president of the Board of Directors, respectively. As panelists to both conferences were partners of each of the countries in the region where Consortium has presence; Guatemala, Alvaro Castellanos; El Salvador, Aquiles Delgado; Honduras, José Ramón Paz; Nicaragua, Rodrigo Taboada; and Costa Rica, David Arthuro Campos and Mario Quesada-Bianchini.

By this means Consortium demonstrated its ample knowledge and experience in the banking and financial area within the Central American region and outside the region.

Within the assistants of the conferences was Mr. Esteban Mancuso, Senior Regional Counsel, Legal Division of Citibank for Latin America and Mrs. Marilyn Bruno, Consultant for Bruno Consulting in the United States. Both also exponents during the Congress of COLADE.
